Bromley Mountain Attractions & Activities
Sun Mountain Flyer: What's a half-million bucks between friends? To say that the debut of The Sun Mountain Flyer, News England's newest and longest ZipRider, was met with wild acclaim would be putting it mildly. It was crazy, to tell you the truth, and the Flyer sold-out on virtually every day of operation. What to do? Well, what else could we do? We ponied up another five hundred grand, is what we did, and added two more lines, doubling the capacity of the (now) $1,500,000, five-story high, half-mile long, 50 MPH Sun Mountain Flyer! Four seats, less waiting!
Alpine Slide: North America's first triple-tracked Alpine Slide and still one of the longest slides in the world - a full 2/3 of a mile. This, my friends, is the "Grand Daddy" of all Alpine Slides!
Climbing Wall: A 24' real "real-rock". Multi-faced and offers challenges for all levels.
Mini Golf: "The Augusta National" of miniature golf courses! ....or so we think.
Trampoline Thing: Four, count 'em, Four! That's right, we've added two more brand new Trampoline Things to the lineup! Slip into the harness and take trampolining to new heights. Literally!
Twin Spin: Round and round you'll go until you yell "Stop!" It's a four-rider, self-propelled spinning sensation! Max weight- 180 lbs per rider, minimum height of 36"
Space Bikes: Race against a friend as you actually pedal your way into orbit - like a bicycle race turned on its head! Must be at least 59" tall to ride.
Super Slide: The little ones now have a Bromley slide all their own with the colorful, bouncy, 24' inflated Kiddie Slide! Must be under 48" to ride.
Zip Line: It's basically 100' of "YEEEEEEE-HA!" on a super strong steel cable. Must be under 125 lbs and at least 48" tall
Big Splash: At 456', the Splash is still Vermont's longest, and therefore coolest, water slide ride. Maximum weight 375 lbs for either one or two riders. Minimum height of 42"
Bumper Boats: A nautically-nifty perennial favorite. Aye-aye! Must be under 48" to ride.
Bounce House: Wonderfully bouncy with some serious "boinging" going' on! Must be under 48" to ride.
Giant Swing: It looms as high as a four-story building, swings riders at speeds approaching 40mph and produces 3G's of gravitational force. Maximum weight of 300lbs, minimum height of 48" required to ride.
Scenic Chairlift Ride: Take a leisurely ride up one of our chairlifts and enjoy the awesome views from our south-facing slopes. Whether leaf-peeping, or summer site-seeing, a scenic ride is a great way to enjoy Vermont!
Bromley History
Founded in 1936 by beer heir Fred Pabst, Jr., a pioneer in the ski industry, Bromley introduced ski lift and ski area design, trail grooming, day care and other concepts.
Pabst designed Bromley's trails to offer breathtaking views, a southern exposure (the only one in New England) and trails that all lead back to the base lodge.
