Just wanted to thank you for the nice experience at the Lakehouse. It was as expected and everything worked as it should.
My brother lives in Essex and came down and stayed a night with us. We were watching the sunset over the Adirondacks and he said, "I've lived here all my life but this is paradise". Just to go outside onto one of the decks in the morning and have a quiet cup of coffee was an enjoyable way to begin the day.
Everyone hated to see our time there end. Next time we my want to stay longer. Thanks again.

House is nice, clean and comfortable. Only thing to bring is your water toys and food!
Fresh steaks down the street (my husband loved), great fishing and shopping in Burlington!!

The view of Lake CHamplain was spectacular. Any issues were resolved immediately because communication was excellent. The grandchildren loved all the toys that were available. Not to mention that the beds were very comfortable. Definitely would recommend to anyone who is interested!

I rented from Marty this past weekend for my sisters Bachelorette weekend. What a great decision!
From the get-go Marty was responsive, accomodating, fair and good-humored. I felt completey at ease renting from him and blindly paying for accomodations I had not inspected in person.
The house worked very well for our needs, but the outdoor deck space is what really sets this home apart from the rest! The few pictures Marty teases you with on his listing do not even begin to do it justice.
The views are to die for - what a gorgeous location with a perfectly positioned view of the lake, the mountains and ultimate tranquility! You literally are positioned over the lake - breathtaking! My sister, her friends and myself were all thoroughly pleased with this house. The beds are comfortable and the upstairs "loft" room is a great bonus and would be perfect as a "kids room" for a family reunion/get-away.
No complaints from this renter - Thanks for the house Marty, it really made my sisters "last fling" a memorable one! =)

We stayed here for my 50th b-day to fish the LCI Tourney. Beautiful place with everything you need. Gorgeous views and the deck was just heavenly. My buddy's 50th is coming up and we plan on staying here again.
My girlfriend and I and two other couples rented the house for New Years weekend. The house was very comfortable for us and we had a great time cooking and enjoying the beautiful view of the Lake and Adirondacks. Middlebury and Burlington are close by and fun to visit. Hiking the nearby Snake Mtn affords a couple hours exercise and a spectacular vista. The owner, Marty, was professional, easy to work with and focused on making sure that we had a good time. Enjoy your stay.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Our family of four plus two extra teenage friends were all comfortable for the week. There was plenty of space for the two grownups and 4 teenagers, especially the upstairs living room/bedroom. While we were unable to use the dock due to high water this spring it didn't stop us from having a blast. It only made us want to return to try it out when the waters recede a little. Owner Martin was available for questions and always responded quickly.

Fantastic week! The house is everything advertised and more. Kitchen is WELL stocked with pans, utensils, everything you need. Everything was spotless. VERY comfortable accommodations.
The lake is beautiful. We brought Kayaks and there was enough room on the little beach to store 6 easily up against the wall next to the dock. The area is very quiet at night. Open up the windows and sleep like a baby.
If you like to fish, this is a great place. There are small coves all along the shore perfect for Large Mouth bass. You don't have to travel far to find them.
A GREAT vacation. Everything and more as described. HIGHLY recommended if you are looking for a quiet lake house that is both spacious and comfortable.

Just a quick note to say how much we all enjoyed our home away from home at your Vermont lake house last week.
It was the perfect place for our adult children to come together with us, and my husband was most excited about spending time in Vermont and doing some family history at the same time.
His ancestors John and Sarah Selleck, owned the cabin used by the American army as headquarters and later as a hospital during the battle at Hubberdton on July 7, 1777.
AND the lake water was calm enough for us to enjoy our kayaks on Friday.
